    Academic- Numbers

    in Helping each other out

    Let's practice our numbers



    A fun and functional way to practice numbers.


    Steps:

    Simply draw out a phone on a piece of paper.


    Print off and cut out the character phone numbers. (attached below) you could also draw these out on paper if you don't have a printer.


    Show your child how to pick a character number, place it in the box and then copy the number using the keys on the phone.

    Extra:

    You could also use your own phone or a toy phone for this.


    To add an element of life skills to this activity you could make up your own character numbers of important people in the child's life such as mam, dad, grandparents and put their actual phone numbers under a picture of them so that the child begins to learn the phone numbers of his/her loved ones.
