Fine Motor- Octopus

Octopus Fine Motor Activity

Area: Fine motor, maths, sensory, play

You will need: Cheerios or stickers, paper, print off octopus template or draw using a marker

· Draw an octopus with circles on his tentacles. (or print out template)

· Show your child how to place the cheerio/stickers on the circles.

· Fill up all the octopus.

· You could extend this activity by writing a number on each octopus and put that amount of number of circles on each tentacle.

· Count out loud when placing the cheerio or stickers on the tentacle
