Gross Motor- A twist on Twister

    in Helping each other out

    A Twist on Twister

Here is a fun activity to do with the kiddies which works ob their gross motor skillls, matching skills and coordination.

    You will need:

Option 1 (printer) Document attached below, scissors, tape

Option 2 (no printer) Paper, scissors, marker, tape

    Steps:

    Option 1-

    Print off the document below.

Cut out the hands and feet into squares of paper.

Stick 3 pieces of paper across in a line with tape. Must have at least one hand and one foot on each row.

Do 5-10 rows depending on how long you want it.

    Option 2-

Cut some A4 pages in half.

Use a marker to draw some right hands, left hands, right feet and left feet.

Stick 3 pieces of paper across in a line with tape. Must have at least one hand and one foot on each row.

Do 5-10 rows depending on how long you want it.

    How to play:

The child will start at the first row and match their hands/feet to the ones on the paper.

The child will then make their way along the rows putting the correct hand or foot on each sheet.

You can make it a game by rolling a dice and the child gets to move that number of limbs forward.

    Have fun!
