It gives the children a run activity to follow while also working on their gross motor skills and fundamental movement skills. Set up the course to suit your child's ability. Then add to it make it more advanced once the child is comfortable completing the course. Lots of praise and encouragement while doing the course can help the kiddies and allow them to enjoy it. Try to have something fun at the end of the course so that the child is motivated to get to the end such as the trampoline if your child loves that, they get sprayed with water at the end of the course if this is something they would enjoy or everyone gives a big cheer when the child finishes etc. This great weather is a perfect opportunity to set up an obstacle course in your back garden to give your kiddies endless fun. We look forward to seeing you get creative in creating your own obstacle courses over the next few days. Have fun!
